Every question in the match flow is there for one reason: to invite the right businesses instead of the most businesses. Here's what we ask and what each answer does.
1. First, tell us in your own words
The flow starts with a simple prompt: tell us what vehicle you have and what you need done. CleannAI reads what you shared and pre-fills its best guess for the questions that follow — so if you wrote "pet hair everywhere in my 2019 Tahoe," the vehicle and service answers are often already waiting for you. Every guess is tappable to change.
2. Your vehicle type
A sedan, a lifted truck, a boat, and an RV are different jobs with different equipment. Vehicle type is the first filter for which businesses are qualified to quote you.
3. What you'd like help with
Full detail inside and out, interior only, exterior only — or Not Sure, which is a perfectly good answer. Scope is the biggest driver of what the work costs, so getting it roughly right up front means the quotes you receive are grounded in the actual job.
4. Add-ons
Ceramic coating, paint correction, odor removal, pet hair removal, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration — these are specialty services, and not every detailer offers all of them. Selecting add-ons narrows the match to businesses that actually do that work.
5. Condition and timing
Condition tells businesses how much work the job really is — an honest answer here is what keeps quotes accurate instead of surprising everyone later. Timing (tomorrow, this week, next week) matters because the best-fit business is only a fit if they can take the job when you need it.
6. Mobile detailer or shop
Some detailers come to you; some you go to. If you have a preference, we match accordingly — and if it doesn't matter, saying so widens the pool.
7. Your ZIP and contact info
Your ZIP code is where matching starts: businesses are considered based on whether your location falls within their service area. Your name and mobile phone are how the results reach you — that's the number we text with the link to your assembled quote request, with all the invited businesses on it.
